We recently designed a series of Muzzle Centering Plugs utilizing our standard pilot bushings that allow you to machine/thread the muzzle end of the barrel concentric to the bore without having to indicate the bore at the muzzle.
Carrying a bore-appropriate pilot bushing, the Muzzle Centering Plug is inserted into the muzzle of the barrel to be machined and is supported by a live center in the tail stock. This allows fast and accurate machining when fitting muzzle devices.
