Bolt Body (Nose) Counter Bore

The Bolt Body Counter Bore is only available as a Removable (Live) Pilot and comes in the following Spindle Sizes: #0, #1, #2, #3, & #4.
Each tool comes with (1) Pilot Bushing to the caliber’s nominal bore size. Additional pilot bushings can be purchased under Standard Pilot Bushings.
Used to cut the .705” diameter counterbore for the bolt nose when fitting barrels to Remington 700 actions. Unlike other designs, our cutter also faces the end of the barrel at the correct depth and cuts a small radius at the counterbore entrance to facilitate feeding.
