Reamers are available in both Roughers and Finishers with only a Removable (Live) Pilot option. Pilot Bushings to nominal bore diameter are included with removable pilots. Additional Pilot Bushings can be purchased under Pilot Bushings.
TiCN Coating, formally known as Titanium Carbo-Nitride coating, is an all-purpose strengthening coating that does especially well with cutting applications. Adding a total thickness of approximately .0001″ – .0002″ (2 – 5 Microns), TiCN coating will lengthen the life of your reamer and keep your tools sharper for longer.
Oil grooves are an available option for all chamber reamers over 22 caliber. The grooves allow for a better flow of cutting fluid as well as flushing of chips.
The 308 Winchester 2019 Fullbore T30 uses the standard 308 Winchester headspace gauges.
The 308 Winchester 2019 Fullbore T30 uses the standard 308 Winchester Roughing Chamber Reamer.
The 308 Winchester 2019 Fullbore T30 is the updated version of 2011 Fullbore & 95 Palma reamers. Provides increased velocity and excellent accuracy with Sierra 2155 & 2156, Berger 155 Hybrid, 155 VLD and 155.5 Fullbore.
Due to the 30 degree transition, this chamber has the equivelent of .097 freebore vs a chamber using the standard 45 degree transition.
Travelling US competitiors report using .080 to .100 fb to comply with Bisley rule 150, without issue. Freebore can also be extended .015-.020 to add an additional margin of comfort for those planning to travel to Bisley. (The design freebore length of .085 is set to allow the Berger 155.5 to seat about 50% into the cartridge neck, depending on jump desired. Other Sierra, Lapua & Berger 155's have longer bearing surfaces lengths and would be more tolerant of a longer freebore).
